Tony Bianco

I recently had the pleasure of completing a number of design tasks for a Graphic Designer position at Tony Bianco. The brief involved creating a range of digital assets designed to demonstrate how I would interpret and work within the existing Tony Bianco brand across different digital touchpoints. The focus wasn’t on developing a new brand strategy or campaign concept, but on understanding and translating the brand consistently through strong visual execution.

Website Landing Page Design

The brief was to design a desktop landing page for a Tony Bianco new-season collection or product story, using existing products and imagery.

I wanted to create a clean, premium layout that felt true to the Tony Bianco brand while still bringing my own design style and attention to detail to the execution.

The page included:

  • Hero image

  • Headline and supporting copy

  • CTA

  • Product section

  • Secondary imagery and content

  • Clear visual hierarchy

I kept the design clean and minimal, using strong imagery and simple typography to create a premium feel that fits naturally within the Tony Bianco brand.

The pop-up included:

  • Image

  • Headline and supporting message

  • Email field

  • CTA

The aim was to create something visually appealing without distracting from the main purpose, encouraging customers to sign up while keeping the experience clear and inviting.

EDM Design

The brief was to design a Tony Bianco EDM promoting a new-season product story, with a focus on strong layout, visual hierarchy and brand consistency rather than extensive copy.

I created a clean, fashion-focused design using bold imagery, considered typography and a structured layout to showcase the products while keeping the overall look premium and on-brand.

The EDM included:

  • Hero image

  • Headline and supporting copy

  • Product imagery

  • CTA

  • Secondary content and product section

I focused on creating a strong visual flow that guides the viewer through the email and keeps the products at the centre of the design.

I used different colours and styles of the loafers to showcase the variety within the collection and give the audience a better sense of the different options available.

The model in the original image was positioned too close to the right and left, so I used Adobe Generative Fill in Photoshop to extend the background and create more space around the model. This gave the composition more breathing room and made it more suitable for the layout. I also darkened the background in Photoshop to make it a little more dramatic.

Instagram Grid Design

The brief was to create a 15-tile Instagram grid, using existing Tony Bianco imagery and products to build a cohesive and engaging feed.

I wanted the grid to feel like an extension of the Tony Bianco world, combining fashion, product and editorial content with a few unexpected elements to keep the feed interesting. I incorporated a mix of campaign imagery, product shots, close-up details, typography, new-arrival messaging and product call-outs, along with playful uses of GIFs and video. I also explored creative ways to bring the products to life, including a polaroid concept to create interest and engagement.

The focus was on making the 15 tiles work as one visual system, considering:

  • Image selection and cropping

  • Typography and spacing

  • Colour and balance

  • Content variety

  • Consistency across the grid

  • Creating a premium, fashion-led feel

I wanted the overall grid to feel curated and editorial, while still having enough movement and personality to encourage people to stop, explore and discover the Tony Bianco world.

Social Media Reels

The brief was to create lifestyle and editorial-style Instagram Reels using GIFs, along with a clever AI-generated video using existing Tony Bianco imagery and products. I wanted to create content that felt playful and unexpected, while still fitting within the brand’s premium fashion aesthetic. I explored ways to give existing content a new life through movement, editing and AI, creating Reels that could add variety and personality to the feed. The aim was to show how existing brand assets could be reworked into fresh, engaging social content without needing to create everything from scratch.

AI Image Edits

I was asked to select an existing Tony Bianco image and use AI to change the shoes, as well as make additional edits to the image. I changed the original open-toe wedge heel into a square closed-toe style, while keeping the rest of the image consistent. I also removed the rug and used AI to extend the image above and below, giving the composition more breathing room.

This was a great example of how I can use AI to make targeted creative changes while maintaining the original look and feel of the imagery.
